Ben Ryan was England Sevens team coach and wasn’t a very successful coach .He came to Fiji and won the First Olympic Gold medal for Fiji in the Olympics and left. Gareth Baber came did the same and left.

Fiji has the best lot of sevens players so it really doesn’t matter who the coach is. I think Jan Nissar is right the sevens coaches come to Fiji just to make a name for themselves.

Just give the coaching job to Jerry Tuwai he has the best qualifications and two Olympic God medals.

Call for ban on harmful chemical pesticides and weedicides

The sale of all harmful pesticides and weedicides in several shops in Fiji is without any control or checks on the purpose of purchase. While Paraquat and Imidacloprid have thankfully been banned in Fiji since January 2020, there are still far too many toxic and extremely harmful alternatives readily available which are still related to many disturbing and repulsive animal and human poisoning cases.

With many other countries and even some local producers opting for healthier and better organic farming practices, it is hightime the relevant stakeholders place a ban on all these horrendous chemicals that many people misuse to cause great harm to themselves or voiceless animals who cannot even express their level of pain and suffering.

We should not allow these chemicals for circulation which inevitably end up in the food on our plates and accumulate in our bodies overtime, and definitely not as a horrible means to end precious lives. It is almost 2022, we can do better than banning just two of such unnecessary products. Let’s go organic and save lives Fiji!
