Customer satisfaction important for Foods Pacific
One of the South Pacific’s largest food producers maintains customer satisfaction is paramount. Foods Pacific Pte Limited, based in Lami, held their food sampling in Fresh Choice supermarket in Lautoka last Friday to attest to consumer priority.
Senior general manager Sumukh Malankar said food sampling was held so consumers could taste their products firsthand before purchasing it.
“Through this, we are introducing our new products such as Obela Butter Spread, and reintroducing our older products to the market,” he said.
“We ensure our consumers get products which were previously considered a luxury at very affordable prices.”
Mr Malankar said the local market was generally prioritised over international markets.
“Our policy is that if a customer has the slightest of doubt or complaint about our product, we ensure that our salesperson or company representative visits him personally at his residence, replace the products and afterwards, file a report on how we can better our products.
“That is a procedure we strictly follow because we value our customers a lot,” he said.
He said although COVID-19 pandemic had caused a few hiccups in the industry, Foods Pacific had managed to retain all their staff members.
“We have innovated and developed new products as such – something that the locals could enjoy at a very reasonable price,” Mr Malankar said.
Mr Malankar said there were plans to diversify into new products in the future.
Company brand ambassador and sportsperson Jerry Tuwai said he supported the locally made and processed products by the company.
“The affordability of the products is commendable during the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
