A moist easterly wind flow prevails over the country. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure is expected to affect the northeastern parts of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca group and Lau and Lomaiviti group today.

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji Group:

Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over Vanua Levu, northern, eastern and eastern interior of Viti Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca group and Lau and Lomaiviti group.

Partly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms especially in the afternoon or evening.

Isolated heavy falls with thunderstorms expected. Moderate easterly winds. Winds expected to become northeasterlies from today.
