During this 150 years of journey for Post Fiji, many generations have been dedicated and has put up a lot of strength into this company.

Post Fiji’s chief executive officer, Anirudha Bansod said the celebration was all about uniting with each other and sharing the love and interest the company had for the past 150 years.

“This is a great institute. Challenges are still there and we will keep on performing in the best interest of the community,” he said.

Mr Bansod also said Post Fiji looked forward to more technology-driven advances.

“Changes proposed by the company could include artificial intelligence with Blockchain technology, or even incorporating EMS to the next level with the applications,” he said.

He said sustaining the company’s workforce through the economically challenging times that the1 COVID-19 pandemic brought, paid off.

“All the staff has also shown that sort of loyalty and solidarity with the Post Fiji,” he said.

“And that’s where we are sustaining the business.”

Meanwhile, Post Fiji board chairman, Lawrence Tikaram, said the men and women of Post Fiji had developed and shaped this company drastically with the support of Government which had been tremendous.

“This has been very influential in the way we do our business. We continue to innovate,” he said.

Mr Tikaram said not many companies got to share a significant moment in time, such as a sesquicentennial 150th anniversary celebration.

“Post Fiji Limited can shout out to the world that in this tiny, small, vibrant nation, the jewel in the Pacific, Fiji, we have achieved a milestone, and we have achieved it with grace and humility,” he said.

Post Fiji’s high touch point model has raised standards of living and communication through the delivery of its services.”

He said Post Fiji would have reached 100 per cent online store services for its 58 outlets, by the end of the year.

“The remaining five outlets will go online to bring us 100 per cent of our services online,” Mr Tikaram said.

“The future looks bright for Post Fiji than it was ever before.”

He also said Post Fiji was looking at expanding and remodeling their business and shops.

“Consumers want to have a better shopping environment. It is our priority to meet customer’s demands,” he said.
