Post Fiji shines in many areas. But when it comes to Women in Leadership, the company is proud of its position as it celebrates its 150th anniversary. Vinita Prasad is among those leaders who has succeeded in some of the roles in Post Fiji.

A young and dedicated leader started in 2014 right from Suva in the Logistic Department. She was then promoted as a manager at Post Fiji, Navua branch.

Ms Prasad said Navua was a rural place and it was also developing fast and leading her team was a bit of a challenge.

“There were a lot of challenges we faced during this pandemic and lockdown period. The items could not be delivered to our customers on time and it was not easy to explain and handle customers during this situation,” she said.

“We still did not lose hope and we tried our best to provide the best services to our reliable customers in Navua. As a manager, I feel proud to be leading the Post Fiji staff in Navua and I take this as a blessing because not everyone gets this opportunity to manage a shop with the experience of less than 10 years.”

She said her success in managing the shop was because of Post Fiji management who had trust in her and acknowledged her hard work.

“Post Fiji is doing great and we are trying our best to provide excellent services to our customers to meet their satisfaction,” Ms Prasad said.

“This is a great opportunity to be part of Post Fiji’s 150th anniversary. Working for Post Fiji is the best moment. Everything about Post Fiji is so good and I am enjoying my daily work.”
