Care centre receives Christmas gifts
There’s nothing quite like Christmas to bring out the kid in everyone. Holiday cards, gift giving and receiving, stuffed animals and other toys, hoping for that perfect gift from someone special the Christmas season is a special time of year.
R. C. Manubhai believse that every child in Fiji deserves to experience the joy of Christmas, which is why this year they embarked on an extensive two-day toy drive to assist children in various parts of Fiji.
This was made possible due to donations from their customers, staff and management, they were able to visit and make sure that every child at the Loloma Home & Care Centre felt special on this Christmas season.
Their team visited the home with the spirit of holiday giving which included bouncing castle for the kids, stands for flavoured popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones.
“A special BBQ lunch was prepared for all with various gifts for the children at Loloma Home &
Care Centre.
“These are tough times for everyone, however we at R. C. Manubhai believe in sharing the essence of the festive season” said Atish Singh the Group Marketing Manager.
“The smiles on the faces of the children today mean the world to us, we want to ensure as a Fiji based organisation, we do our bit for the community as part of our corporate social responsibility.
“The generosity of our customers, staff and management have enable us to be able to do this for the children of Loloma Home & Care Centre and we plan more support initiatives for the centre in the coming year”.
The team at R. C. Manubhai ended the day with lunch and gift exchanges with the children with a special appearance from the Minnie Mouse mascot as well!
“Although things have not been ideal, we encourage our partners and business associates to take time out this festive season and look at how we can assist organisations like the Loloma Home & Care Centre” said Mr Singh.
