I want to reaffirm the establishment of this party [which is] to basically return the power to the people. Ruveni Nadalo We Unity Fiji party leader

The We Unite Fiji party is not only for the Nadroga-Navosa Province but for the whole of Fiji. Party leader Ruveni Nadalo made these remarks during his first official address on the party’s Facebook page on Saturday.

Mr Nadalo, a former FijiFirst Member of Parliament and deputy speaker, clarified his party’s stance.

“I want to reaffirm the establishment of this party [which is] to basically return the power to the people.

“We are here for iTaukeis and also for those who have called Fiji their home.

“We need support from those in the country and also those who are based overseas.

“Our pledge is not to point a finger at any other party but we want to thank the opposition, SODELPA, for keeping up on the hot seat, from 2014 to date,” Mr Nadalo added.

“I want to thank the FijiFirst Government for the win since 2014, and repeat in 2018 and until today.

“We are about to jump into the 2022 General Election. We want other people’s voices to be heard and move forward.”

He added that the Butterfly will surely bring prosperity.

“There are a huge number of people who remain in poverty and we need to pray for the betterment of tomorrow so this butterfly will bring in good times which we have been crying for,” he said.

Meanwhile, supporters gathered with supporters during an awareness visit last month in Ovalau.

The team visited each district and villages such as Vuni-ivi- Savu, Visoto, Vuma, Nasinu, Naiviteitei, and Niubasaga.

Mr Nadalo added that this was to create dialogue with the people and sub-district chiefs, including the Tui Levuka, Tui Wailevu, Rokotuibau na Rokotakala, Vunivalu and Turaga na Ratu.
