Tourism Fiji, Nominee for World Culinary Awards 2022
TOURISM FIJI HOSTS MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA 2021 WINNER JUSTIN NARAYAN AND HIS WIFE
Tourism Fiji has been nominated for the World Culinary Awards 2022 under the category: Oceania’s Best Culinary Destination 2022 - Fiji.
Tourism Fiji chief executive officer Brent Hill said this was a testament to what Fiji could do and achieve.
“We all know Fiji has some amazing, delicious food across the many cultures that make up modern day Fiji, due in large part to the fresh produce we can get access to in Fiji.”

He also highlighted that inviting MasterChef Australia 2021 winner, Justin Narayan, and his wife Esther to Fiji was a golden opportunity.
“This was a unique opportunity for us to showcase what Fiji has to offer as a culinary destination and we’re always looking to highlight the amazing cuisine we have here in Fiji. Over the last few days, Justin has been posting stories and sharing his foodie journey through Fiji with his 116,000 followers on Instagram and thousands more on Facebook. The images of food are stunning and reflect what we know – that Fiji is really growing as a foodie destination,” Mr Hill said.
Since arriving on Monday, May 30, the couple have learnt all about salt harvesting with the
team at South Sea Salt Fiji located in Momi, celebrated their anniversary with a meal at Sails Restaurant at Port Denarau Marina, dinned at KANU Restaurant in Nadi and stayed at Turtle Island Resort last week.
Voting for the awards opens today and will run until August 31.
Tourism Fiji encourages industry partners and culinary community to vote.
