In a bid to strengthen ties between Fiji and South Korea, the Ezra Group has prompted the set-up of a new private school in Nadi.

The Ezra Group will open its door for the Ezra Lincoln Kindergarten at the same premises which was formerly used as the Fiji Technical College and Nadi College respectively.

South Pacific Ezra PTE Limited chairman Kangsoo (Harry) Cho, a former lecturer, is the brain child of this project which starts its programme from Monday.

“I will change the things around here first with the premises and I acknowledge the trustee for having faith in my vision in education,” he said.

“We will start with kindergarten, then the remainder of the primary and secondary will commence with the next academic year in January 2023.”

“My main objectives are as follows: To operate in the best interest and well-being of the child. This will enhance in the future for the development of education in Korea and Fiji,” he said.

Mr Cho and some principals in the Nadi area have created the Fiji Education Association (F.E.A), of which he is chairman.

Kindergarten is provided with a quality, high grade classroom, with airconditioner.

“I want to do a lot of really good things for Fiji and society in the future. I am not here to make money,” he said.

He takes over the premises in February this year. The curriculum followed is of Nevada, USA.
