- LAISA LUI Feedback: laisa.kabulevu@fijisun.com.fj

The Uprising Beach Resort offers an uninterrupted ocean view and balmy sea breezes flow through spacious authentic, Fijian-themed accommodation, thatched beachfront Villas and bures for a desirable true Fijian style holiday.

To make your holiday at the beach resort more relaxed, meet Rusiate Naulivou, the resort manager at Uprising Beach Resort.

Mr Naulivou has been managing this resort since he joined in August of 2018.

He said that it is one of the most challenging jobs which requires a lot of sacrifice and determination.

I thank the continuous support of the Directors/Owner of the resort Mr Rene Munch in this role and most importantly to the Almighty God for the breath of life and wisdom which enabled me to lead one of the best teams in my entire career.

Based on his performance, the native of Namara, Vuda, Ba is hopeful to manage the resort for another year.

“I do know that I have done my very best during my tenure as Resort Manager,” Mr Naulivou said.

“Now with the borders finally opened, I have seen an increase in our visitor’s arrivals.

“We had to turn away a few reservations or bookings due to the limited number of rooms that we’ve got.

“There had also been additional product lines created such as our new 120 seater Conference Facility to cater for our MICE market.

“This will be a game changer for us since we had been vying to have one conference facility to cater for this growing market,” he said.

The new conference facility will have its soft reopening in the coming weeks.
