Fund’s efforts to digitize its services through the mobile application – myFNPF App – now enables members to view, download or email their account statements directly from the

App.

Previously, the Fund would dispatch annual member statements to employers for distribution to members and more recently, the statements were sent via email.

“The myFNPF App now provides that platform for members to access their account details, also view their statements, download and even have it emailed,” said chief executive officer Viliame Vodonaivalu.

“We encourage members to download their statement from the app, as not only is it more convenient but is also a better option, preventing members’ statements from being delivered to the wrong email, work or postal address.”

“Once you are a registered user of the myFNPF App, your login credentials ensures that you alone access your FNPF account through the app and that’s why members’ should never share their passwords.”

There are more than 200,000 registered users of the myFNPF App.

Over the last financial year, the Fund received more than 66,000 requests for member statements. These requests were for account balance, general eligibility and detailed statements.

Members will no longer need to visit FNPF offices or request for statements via email or telephone, once they download, register and use the myFNPF App.

Amongst its many features, the myFNPF App allows members to also register voluntary members and also pay additional and voluntary contributions.

The Fund will continue to explore opportunities to enable the digitization of more services through the myFNPF app.
