For the past 25 years, Remington Fiji Limited and Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia Pty Limited have grown and supported its services as business partners. Remington is the authorised dealer and distributor of Konica Minolta products, consumables and spare parts and they provide backup service to all the Konica Minolta photocopiers, office printers, commercial printers and multifunction devices in Fiji and other Pacific Island Countries like Solomon Islands, Kiribati and Tuvalu.
Remington chief executive officer Mohammed Bari said Remington had seen improvement and growth in the business mostly in the photocopying and printing side in Fiji.
“Our service has also improved over the years and the reliability of the machine as it is so user friendly that people prefer the Konica Minolta brand,” he said.
He said he was proud that they were the distributors of such a renowned brand.
“Konica Minolta product is well-known and it is provided in a lot of schools, government sectors and few corporate companies,” Mr Bari said.
“We have a strong bond with Konica Minolta in terms of distributing their products in Fiji with the Australia Konica Minolta being the major distributor in the Pacific.”
Plans
Mr Bari said they were planning to create more job opportunities.
“We have recruited few staff in the last three months and we will recruit about five more staff next year in March,” he said.
Remington currently has about 55 staff in all their branches in Lautoka, Suva (head office) and Labasa.
“We are proud to be associated with Konica Minolta and during the COVID-19 pandemic, they were lenient on us.”
Konica Minolta Channel Manager, Andrew Ward has applauded the staff of Remington Business System for their commitment towards the company.

He said Remington purchased a lot of supplies like office equipment, multi-function devices and printers, also larger production machines, innovative solutions to help people automate their businesses.
“We are fortunate to be in a market where we can support Remington with technical support, training and marketing tools to make the team successful,” Mr Ward said.
“We invest an estimated 50 to 100 thousand to provide them with this support.
“Our partners are very important to us as they represent our brand and represent our values. Remington has made our name and brand really successful in Fiji.”
