Khan remodifies car to suit car show

Since his school days, Nafiz Khan was always inquisitive about cars to the extent that he bought his first car in 2016.
He owns a 1997 Toyota Starlet, Model: EP 91 which he remodified to his liking.
“I bought the car for $2500 and on my purchase, it was just a rolling shell with no modification,” he said.
“It took me almost $20k to work on the interior and exterior of the car to give it a unique look and be an outstanding one.
“I like the model and being a small car with alot of power and the modifications which can be done to it. Looking at the market for this model, all parts are available and can be ordered online.
“I bought the car in year 2016 and it was a stock starlet with no modifications to it. It is built by me and i have spent alot on it to look outstanding.”
He has participated in a few car shows where his car has won awards for exterior full-body wrap, best engine bay turbo and best starlet/ glanza.
He hopes to participated in any drag racing competition once the tracks are open.
“I will continue to participate in the coming shows to motivate my other friends to have love for cars as this is the best activity to get together with others and share our thoughts about cars,” he said.
“I have built my car to a level where I can participate in drag and also car shows. It runs a 4efte engine, front mount setup and other accessories.”
Mr Khan resides in Narere and does panel jobs and automotive painting.
