$220k Vehicle Inspection Agency Opens in Nakasi

Vehicle owners along the Nausori-Nakasi corridor will not have to go far for vehicle inspection after Manos Motors opened its doors on Wednesday.

Manos Motors Vehicle Inspection Agency owner, Manoj Kamal invested $220,000 on this business. His first Agency was opened in 2019 at Rakiraki.

He is planning to open another one before this Christmas in Savusavu.

Mr Kamal is a vehicle inspector by profession.

“With a total fees of $27.50 and a maximum of 45 minutes, their vehicles

will be serviced during the operating hours that is from Monday to Saturday.

“After the services, they have 14 days to pay for wheel tax anywhere in Fiji,” he said.

The agency will provide employment to three people.

Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport, Faiyaz Koya while opening the outlet said: “Manos Motors will serve not only the people of this community, but those travelling Nakasi and the Kings highway’.

“When I think about small businesses, I have a special sentiment, because it means we are supporting local communitie­s and empowering budding business owners like Manoj to progress. “The Fijian Government believes in small businesses because we believe in your ability to create jobs, revenue and promote entreprene­urial independen­ce.

Such establishm­ents not only encourage economic activity, but support the Land Transport Authority’s role in steering Fiji safely towards adequate, effective, efficient and safe land transporta­tion throughout Fiji.
