With travel restrictions eased, healthcare collaboration between Fiji and India is on the rise. Eventually, Fijians would benefit. A week-long medical camp was organised by Vaidam Health (www.vaidam.com), a known name in Fiji for medical procedure assistance.

India’s leading Orthopedic, Spine, and IVF doctors consulted more than 400 patients in Suva and Nadi from November 21-26.

The visiting doctors include Dr Vivek Mahajan, Dr Bhipudendu Mohapatra (Indian Spinal Injury Center, New Delhi), and Dr Sandeep Talwar, a renowned IVF specialist at Nova Fertility Center, New Delhi.

The doctors examined patients physically, reviewed their reports.

Dr Mahajan, an Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon, said he was delighted by seeing the patient’s excitement and the way they participated.

“We have visited Fiji multiple times because the patients need our services,” he said.

Dr B Mohapatra said, “there is always an excitement when I visit Fiji to consult patients. I am able to offer so much to the patients. Most patients can lead a better quality life by following the treatment plan I recommend, locally.”

Dr Talwar said: “Fiji patients need us. Most fertility issues if handled by the right techniques by experts are solvable these days. People have been very warm here and I would love to come back.”

Pankaj Chandna, Co-founder of Vaidam Health expressed his gratitude towards all three doctors and Fiji patients for cooperating and providing an exceptional response. He has traveled to Fiji many times and treats its residents and extended family. Vaidam.com is NABH accredited and is a leading medical travel Assistance Company and assists patients from all over the world with medical procedures.
