Clifford Phillips says on the journey in life some of us have found ourselves, found our identity, found our calling.

“Some of us have discovered new passions and some of us have discovered gifts and talents that were suppressed for many years,” he said. Mr Phillips has been residing in the United Kingdom for more than 10 years, travelling 15,822 kilometres away from home to graduate with a Diploma at World Harvest Institute (WHI).

He said though he could have studied elsewhere he chose WHI because it was the institute of his church (Christian Mission Fellowship) which also has a relationship with Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“It doesn’t end here for me. I wish to further my studies with Oral Roberts University.” He said he began his studies with World Harvest Institute in 2021 and has not regretted it and he hopes to be a beacon of hope and a channel of blessings to communities.

“It has always been said by the lecturers at the Institute is “The lessons study you more than you study the lesson”, a quote which I have come to understand to be very true for me.”

Mr Phillips said the main challenges he faced were time management, juggling work and family and studying at the same time.

“I was able to overcome these challenges, dedication and staying focused on the goal of achieving my Diploma,” he said.

“I believe we are never too young to learn and there should never be a time or age limit on learning. For when we stop learning we stop growing”

He said that he is grateful for the support from his family back at home in the UK. “I would also like to encourage our brothers and sisters out there to study with WHI, try beginning with one lesson and I assure you it will transform your life as it has for me which was also a way to bring me back to my creator,” he said.
