Holiday Inn, and Taveuni for Kenny
Samantha Kenny is the direct branch manager that looks after Tower Insurance newly opened branch at Suva Central.
The new branch provides employment for two consultants and one mobile sales consultant.
Ms Kenny was a Banker at ANZ Bank for 14 years before joining Tower Insurance for the past four years.
Her role at the newly opened branch is to educate customers on the digital transformation at Tower.
Digital Transforamtion
She also oversees the welfare of her team members, and ensures that they fit in well with the transformation and the digital platform and talking to customers.
“We are going digital and there are less people at the branches,” Ms Kenny said. “Most of the things that we do and the services that we offer are digital, so we’re just there to answer the calls and help customers on the phone whenever they start and talk about digital, and kiosks are also available in the branch as well. The consultants are there to help the customers whenever they need to purchase a policy, whether it’s for a house, or a car.
“We have been closely monitoring the traffic on EIS online on our digital platform. When we first rolled it out, that was a couple of months ago. It’s just been slow, like hitting on 30 percent or 20 per cent. “We’re doing something different this last two months as we’ve been hitting about 50 per cent, and yesterday we hit 83 per cent on the traffic,” she said
“We’re definitely doing something right. “When one of my team members is busy, I actually sit in and make sure that our customers are served in a timely manner. “I commute between Suva and Nadi on a monthly basis.”
