When you vote you must think of these little kids here, that’s who you are voting for. This was the message given to the hundreds of supporters who attended the FijiFirst Party rally by leader, Voreqe Bainimarama at Lautoka’s Shirley Park on Saturday.

“When you take your vote to the voting box, this is who you should be voting for. Your kids, your old parents, your fathers and mothers, those who you should be voting for,” he said.

“Let me plead with you, there is no other party that can bring you first of all the stability that you need for your families, for your business community, for the economy, like this group.”

He said the votes of those who voted for other parties in the last General Election were misguided.

“I’ve said from the beginning, FijiFirst has a plan, a plan in place on how to govern a country and it can look after all of you,” Mr Bainimarama said.

“The other political parties talking about the 15 years that we have been in Government but we have had only two election, 2014 and 2018 which makes it eight years, why 15 years?.

“Because these political parties gave the other seven years that my military Government was in place because my military Government removed the fear and brought stability to the land, that’s what they don’t want.

“We will prosper but we must remove all those racist elements in our midst.”

Mr Bainimarama also urged those present to exercise their right and vote on December 14.

“I want to tell you that on December 14 it is a very important election for all of us, for Fiji,” he added.

“Well, every election is an important election, but especially this one because we have nine parties vying for 55 seats and we want your support to get the 55 seats.

“Those of you are sitting on the fence on who to vote for come December 14, I want you to hear this group, make up your mind that this is the movement, FijiFirst movement this is the party that you should vote for.”
