Choosing the right type of car to suite your lifestyle is an important element for University of the South Pacific student Kaushal Sharma.
He currently owns a 2017 Toyota Camry Atara S model which was bought from local car dealer Asco Motors.
Mr Sharma is pursuing his Degree on Information Systems and International Business Marketing.
But in his spare time, he would help his parents man their local store at Wainibokasi.
“My most favorite features about my car which I like are: cruise control, infotainment system, the luxury car feel, the performance on a 2.5L natural aspirated engine and the stability while driving,” he said.
“It has sentimental value to me because my dad got it for me as my first car which I really appreciate.”
His dream car is a FORD Mustang GT500 Shelby but settled for a 2017 Toyota Camry Atara S model which his dad bought for $65,000.
Mr Sharma is an adventurous person who enjoys doing off road trips, gaming and watching car movies/videos.
He had participated in the Fiji Motorsports 1/4 mile drag race and won 16.5s on its very first race in his life.
Mr Sharma hopes to participate in more car shows after participating at the Team legit’s car show in
Nakasi and won best Toyota Camry award
“I have participated in two race car competitions.”
His top three awards are Best Family Car in Xplizit’s car show, Best Toyota Camry in Team Legit’s car show and winner of 16.5s Class in Fiji Motorsports 1/4 drag race.
He said feeling the driving experience in reality inspires him to join car racing.
“It’s Fiji’s most modified Camry with bolt on parts, upgraded suspension, unique set of wheels and tyre.”
Mr Sharma started driving at the age of 18.
His plate number KNR reflects his family initials i.e. K for Kaushal, N for Nilesh (dad), R for roshni (mum).
