‘Live A Christ Filled Life this Christmas’

-

It is Christmas again! Christmas is well known to the world as the day of the birth of Jesus Christ. A day we exchange and unwrapped gifts.

A day also of reunion for families, and vacation for some.

A day of fine wines and sumptuous banquets.

A day of rest and enjoying the company of loved ones.

For Christians, it is more than that. It is the birth of the savior, the prince of peace, the personification of God in his divinity.

“GOD BECAME MAN”.

He was born the savior, to save man from ignorance to knowledge of the Supreme Being “GOD”.

He was born the prince of peace, giving peace within believers’ hearts despite the trials and difficulties one face in life.

He is the personification of God in his divinity, gifting the world his divine presence, endowed with heavenly gifts that no wrapped gifts in this world can supersede.

God’s ways in the world cannot be understood fully by all who live in the world, but only those to whom God grants his grace to understand.

To whom God grants the grace to know HIM, understand his WILL, these will know, that the Nativity of our Lord Jesus, that we celebrate as Christmas, one knows that Jesus was rich, and for our sake he was born poor, so that through him we might be enriched with his poverty (cf. 2 Corinthians 8:9).

Christmas is a celebration of one who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

If we, who celebrates Christmas wishes to live a Christ filled-life, we therefore first and foremost must have the boy child-Jesus be born first in us and in our lives, not only on Christmas day, but beyond, meaning throughout our lives and to nurture the joy, love, care, forgiveness and peace that Christmas

brings.

It is in this way we will celebrate Christmas joyfully and meaningfully, because through us we become what we celebrate.

Joyous and blessed Christmas to all.
