We would like to thank our partners, stakeholders, business houses and every Fijian for their support towards the work of Fiji Cancer Society.

Over the past 12 months, the donations received have allowed us to boost our patient support services, conduct cancer awareness and screening programmes to the hard-toreach areas.

The Society will continue to look at avenues of improving patient support services, deliver community palliative care program in the Nadroga/Navosa region and continue to work with partners to improve programme delivery of outreach services.

This year, Fiji Cancer Society completed its Community Palliative Care Program to 66 community health workers and 14 zone nurses in the Central division.

The programme is a collaboration between the Fiji Cancer Society and the Sangam College of Nursing to help improve the quality-of-life patients suffering from cancer in terms of optimal pain/suffering management, emotional and support.

We acknowledged the support of the Women’s Fund Fiji through a sustainability grant for the implementation of the project.

With the success of the project, we hope to expand this programme to the Northern and Western division in the near future.

The support towards our fundraising campaigns and interest for awareness and screening has been amazing and we hope to strengthen this next year.

We will continue to focus on the prevention aspect of NCD as we acknowledge an already strained public health system.

This Christmas, we have prepared xmas hampers for our patients living in the western, central and the northern division.

This is our bit of bringing Christmas cheer to our patients and supported by our partners and sponsored by the LDS church.

None of our work would be possible without the generous donations we receive from

every member of the public.

We are eternally grateful to everyone for believing in the work we continue to do for our patients and for our nation being free from cancer. We hope that this holiday season fill every corner of your heart and home with joy. Let’s continue to reduce our risk of cancer by moving more, eat healthy, being

body aware and seek medical professionals for screening or health checks.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for your continued support and partnership, we look forward to working with you in years to come!
