Former Fiji resident Silvia Prasad has a vision to provide help to young people, children with disabilities, underprivileged families who are in dire need of assistance.

Now living in Canada, Ms Prasad is the director and president for Super Moms Foundation in British Columbia.

“It is a Non-Profitable Organization and our mission is HELPING-HEALING-CARING,” she said.

“Since my motherland is Fiji, our foundation will try every way possible to reach out to our people in need of assistance.”

The 44-year old was born and raised in Nadi. She is married with two beautiful children.

Ms Prasad is a die-hard fan of rugby.

“My family and I got more opportunities to be connected to Fiji Rugby Sevens since Canada sevens commenced here in Vancouver.

“To show our appreciation and token of love, we always meet the team at the airport, support them financially, take them shopping and spend some quality time with them.

“Rugby is one sport which brings people of all nations together under one roof at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.

“I have never missed any series even if we have to do all-nighter.

Next year Vancouver will host the 3-day event from March 3 – 5.

“Meet and Greet is always organized by fans here after the games. Win or lose our support for our nation will always be there.”
