Powerful ‘I BET’ on the Road
Choosing the right car to suit your needs and style was an important element for Rahul Sundar who currently owns a Subaru WRX 2015 VA.
The Subaru WRX 2015 VA has a turbo FA20 engine generating somewhere around 268-280 hp with current setup and mods.
This was Mr Sundar’s second closest to his dream car which was a MK4 Supra.
“I first saw the car on the 18th of February 2021 and it was love at first sight for me with the car,” he said.
“The previous owner was not ready to sell because it was his daughter’s favorite but after negotiating, he finally agreed on letting go of his car.
“The car is special because it’s one of the few Australian imported Performance cars.”
The Subaru WRX 2015 VA was special for Mr Sundar because it was the first car he bought.
He has no doubt turned heads when out on the road with the name ‘I BET’ on the registration plate. He works as the Managing Director for GRANTS BETTING PTE LTD which inspired the naming of his car ‘I BET’.
“It’s special because of the way it pops and bangs and the sound it makes.
“Also not forgetting the name my car got BABYBLUE.”
Mr Sundar bought his car for $55k with an additional $5k on the extra mods.
“The thing I like about my car is that my car always impresses me no matter what there’s something to learn about the car everyday.
“The car is very stable and can maneuver bends at high speeds without losing its stability. Plus my car is cobb tuned which makes room for a lot of different plays on the car.” Mr Sundar is into racing and hopes to participate in one when races resume.
He hopes to participate in more car shows when his car is fully set up.
“I’ve only participated in one car show which was hosted by team legit Fiji and it was the car fair 2022 which had around 200 cars participating in it.
“My car won two awards in the show. It was for the Best Subaru and Best WRX.”
