Dean passionate about keeping home clean always
Cleaning, organising and decorating the compound, or household has always been a hobby for Zyna Dean. The 36-year-old of Laucala Beach, said she could spend a whole day ensuring things were tidy and clean.
“It’s a plus point for our generation that we have so much options and availability on cleaning agents and widely available pest control services which could suit our budget as well as give as the required service,” she said.
Ms Dean said having the right knowledge as to how and what to use to clean your environment, house, office or any specific area was very important.
“It is important so that we do not damage the environment further but at the same time use right cleaning agents or cleaning service to bring about a healthy change,” she said.
She also said it was important for our health and mental peace to have a clean and healthy work place or home environment. “Cleanliness of oneself is a must so that we do not pass on diseases and germs to others that we come in contact,” Ms Dean said. “We come across so many new viruses nowadays thus keeping ourselves and our environment clean will decrease or prevent the virus spreads.”
She said she cleaned her house including counter tops, railing door handles, towels daily so there won’t be any germs which could be easily transferred to the next person using it.
“I would like to advice people to give cleanliness the top most priority in your life. Spending a few dollars in each shopping or as and when necessary to get detergents, bleaches or sanitisers would help not only be a healthy practice but also help reduce spread of germs. The environment itself beautifies when we keep it clean,” Ms Dean added.
She also said every home or work organisation should get pest control services done in every 6 months to a year.
“I have not as yet had the need to use pest control services as I ensure to keep my house and compound clean and does not attract pests or insects,” she said.
“But I am planning to get the services sometime to get my compound if incase there are any pests or insects breeding.”
“Using our own home methods such a proper and timely rubbish disposal, no piling
up of junks in our yards, keeping grass cut short, ensuring that there no still water collection around the house helps us and our neighbors a lot in ensuring that we do not give space for the insects and pests to breed
around the house.”
She said she loved cleaning and it was one of her hobbies especially shopping for her laundry detergents, floor and countertop detergents, window cleaners, lavatory cleaning supplies and santisers.
“A clean and organised compound, office and home will always give us a positive and happy vibe which is very much needed in today’s world.”
