Plans to employ more agents: Jokhan
Jokhan Realtors Pte Limited’s plan is to continue to do what they do with dedication. Managing director, Reginald Jokhan said they were planning to recruit more staff as one of the ways to grow their business.
“We want more enthusiastic employees. Since our mode of income is commission based this generally stops newcomers to pursue
a career in the real estate business,” he said.
“That is the reason why we want to recruit more staff who are passionate about serving the people, and doing so with enthusiasm and knowledge.”
He said Jokhan Realtors was functioning like a well-oiled machine.
“We are living at a time where information travels faster than a sneeze, therefore, it is our primary focus to invest in our IT section.
We have spent heavily on it and will continue to work on it,” Mr Jokhan said.
He said another aspect of their focus was to train its staff to be competent and competitive.
“Most agents in real estate have only the motivation to make money but lack professionalism, attitude, honesty and carry holistic information regarding the real estate market,” he added.
“Some agents have no idea how to read an
economic report. We want to expose our sales reps to all of these. Understanding finances and how prices influence the real estate market.”
Mr Jokhan said they wanted team to be well educated.
“Subsequently, they’ll be able to share accurate and quality information with property owners and buyers. Overall, it gives confidence to all parties involved.”
Expansion
their sales
Jokhan Realtors have plans to open three more branches this year. In Navua, Nausori and Labasa.
“These areas are fast growing in terms of development. With prominent signs of becoming bigger in the coming years we want to set up offices there so people can walk in and access information,” Mr Jokhan said.
