Khan invests in caregiving and counselling services
‘Counselling and care for elderly were managed by qualified and experienced caregivers and counsellors’.
Caregiving and counselling services got friendlier for senior citizens living along the Suva-Nausori corridor. Thanks to Mohammed Saiyad Khan of Korotari, Labasa. He has opened the All Care Homes Pte Limited with the assistance of one of his uncles.
Mr Khan opened his business three weeks ago to help the elderly, youths and to create employment. He assisted 82 skilled and unskilled youths in getting jobs around the Central Division as part of his youth empowerment program last year.
He said the counselling and care for elderly were managed by qualified and experienced caregivers and counsellors.
“Life is busy, especially on Viti Levu where children are working late hours and some are worried about their parents,” Mr Khan
said.
“With our 24-hour service, they can totally rely on us and focus on their work without worry.”
He said their concept for elderly care was to assist them in all activities such as buying groceries, taking individuals to hospitals, sightseeing, resort treats, weddings, family gatherings and more.
“Children don’t have to depend on families who at times are busy or maybe hesitant to assist the ones in need,” he said.
“Children staying abroad can rely on us to provide all the services for their elderly at home in Fiji with daily feedbacks provided to them.”
Their focus areas are elderly care, counselling for all, compound maintenance and renovation works.
“This allows me to provide jobs to youths and skilled workers who lost their jobs during COVID-19,” he said.
“Client information on counselling and elderly care services is kept highly confidential.”
He is grateful to his friends, families and other business houses for trust and supporting his business.
