Woman gets eyeball tattooed despite warnings of possible blindness

-

Tattoos and piercings are said to be addictive, although there’s no hard scientific evidence as to why this might be. After your first tattoo, many people go back for more but some push this to the extreme by tattooing every inch of their body.

One woman has gone too far, according to her followers, as she revealed she had her eyeball tattooed. Rising social media star Kiki Mary has plenty of other tattoos and piercings but many followers raised concerns about this procedure.

The model from São Paulo, Brazil, got the whites of her eye tattooed pitch black but fans raised concerns that she could go blind. Another woman from Poland recently got the same body modification which did result in blindness as the tattoo went wrong.

Kiki posted a shocking video to her social media showing the horrific process, which is not for the faint hearted. She can be seen lying down on a tattoo bench while an artist appears in shot with a needle. The artist herself is also sporting the blacked out eyes as she injects a needle into Kiki’s eyeball - the ink can be seen filling the white of the model’s eye.

Tough, tattoo fan Kiki doesn’t flinch or move throughout the process which only takes a short time before the whole eye is black. Although Kiki loves her blacked out eye, her followers were divided after watching the gruesome looking inking.

One person asked: “Why risk going blind,” and another said: “Why not just wear sclara lenses? It’s 100% safer.”

“I wouldn’t play with my eyes,” a third added to the comments while more viewers said: “Out of all tattoos this is one I’ll never have.”
