The annual ANZ Fiji Excellence and Tourism Awards (FETA) is our very own Fijian Tourism Oscars.
Tappoo Group of Companies director Kaushal Tappoo made these comments at the 2022 edition held at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa last Saturday night.
It was another glamorous night where the stalwarts of the booming industry do gather together under one roof, once a year.
The Tappoo Group has played a huge role in the industry and it continued to render its support year in and year out - this year again as one of the gold sponsors.
“For us, it is very important to be part of the sponsorship itself,” said Mr Tappoo at the end of the event. “It is the whole industry under one roof, these are the guys that make the economy run so strong and we love to partner with them. He added as the sponsorship they put in their best efforts in drinks with all sponsorship efforts. “Simply because this industry is very important to us and for our economy. We have been sponsoring this event for the last ten years,” he said.
“We are proud of it to see the happy family, happy faces, happy owners, and the media who are in this event – it’s our Oscars and it is our best way to show it in Fiji.” Mr Tappoo said that is where people love their awards and talk about it for a long time.
“It will make them go another mile for the visiting tourists.”
