Fijian made skincare brand, Nama Fiji, is the first local brand to be represented by a U.S brand at the International Spa Association ( ISPA) conference at Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas. U.S beauty and wellness branding company, BrandUncover, displayed various skincare products at the conference, last week.

Essence Group Fiji is excited about the debut of its premium product at the known ‘must attend’ event for the spa industry, as it brings together spa professionals and showcases spa and wellness brands globally.

The Nama Fiji skincare product is an anti-aging hydration range catering to women aged 30 years and over with a focus on sustainable harvesting efforts that positively impact the livelihood of Fiji women, said Essence Group Fiji.

Group managing director Debra Sadranu said the brand’s presence at ISPA opened significant exposure,

It is timely the brand continues to expand its international market reach, in particular its entry into the U.S market, she said.

“This is huge for us as a premium skincare brand that is locally made as well as for destination Fij,” said Ms Sadranu.

“It is testimony that Fiji Made products have the potential to be represented and marketed overseas by reputable companies.”

BrandUncover co-founder Taylor Barry said: “ISPA is one of the spa industry’s key networking events in the US.”

“Just steps from the entrance,

Nama Fiji has been an integral destination for discovery at this year’s event.” he said. “Many of the top executives from the most luxurious spas across the globe have participated in discussions around the brand’s sustainable harvesting, eco-friendly practices, and efficacious products”.

The brand is also heavily focused on supporting the blue Pacific framework in particular its sustainability and environmental commitments in the Yasawa Islands.
