A HEAVY RAIN WARNING IS NOW IN FORCE FOR WHOLE OF FIJI GROUP.

SITUATION: AN ACTIVE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE LIES SLOW MOVING OVER THE FIJI GROUP.THE ASSOCIATED CLOUD AND RAIN IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE COUNTRY TILL LATER FRIDAY.

FORECAST FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI GROUP: OCCASIONAL RAIN, HEAVY AT TIMES AND FEW THUNDERSTORMS OVER MOST PLACES.

FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT FOR THE FIJI GROUP:

Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over most places. Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas. Moderate to fresh south to northwesterly winds, gusty at times during heavy falls. Moderate to rough seas.
