Blake Levels Up
Socialite, media influencer and fashionista Andhy Blake has levelled up yet again. This time, the public relations and marketing executive for Captain Cook Cruises Brand, is a finalist at the upcoming Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards.
Mr Blake competes with Talanoa Treks Vilitati Rokovesa for the top spot under the Cultural Tourism Champion category.
The event take place on Saturday, at Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort, Denarau.
“The nomination acknowledges my outstanding contributions, particularly the collaborative work alongside Mark Wiens, promoting Food Tourism to the World and producing engaging inflight videos for Fiji Airways,” Mr Blake said.
“This marks the second consecutive year that I will be hosting the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards, a testament to my dedication and commitment to the tourism industry in Fiji.
“It’s not so much about winning as it is about recognition for the contribution to the nation.”
Mr Blake is also master of ceremonies at the 2024 FETA celebration, where 20 awa.
FETA secretariat Michelle Emberson said 700 people to attend the awards which is the only tourism awards in Fiji to date.
“This year, due to demand from the public we are opening up ticket sales to the general public,” she said.
“Now is the opportunity for corporate businesses, suppliers, and interested members of the public to join us in this celebration of tourism success.” Twenty awards will be presented at the gala night this weekend.
