Extra Labasa held Flick Suva to a 1-all draw in their Digicel Fiji Premier League match at Ratu Cakobau Park yesterday.

Suva coach Intaaz Khan was not happy, at the final whistle he said his side needs to be more composed in their future matches.

“We didn’t play well according to our game plan but one point makes a difference to us,” Khan said.

“We didn’t execute in the second half, we’ll go back to the board and focus on our game plan.”

Khan said his young side will learn as they progress in their DPL campaign.

“We are happy with the performance and we’re pleased with the young players’ eagerness to win,” he said.

In the opposing camp Labasa

coach Ravneel Pratap said his side played well but the result could have been better.

“We were leading in the first half but Suva came back with a goal because our concentration lapsed,” Pratap said.

“The weather was also hot and we had five chances to score but couldn’t execute the finishing move.”

Pratap said senior players have been guiding the young players. “I’m quite happy and proud that these young boys going in there and doing well for the team,” he said.

Labasa drew first blood with a goal from Luke Savu in the first half while Suva’s Neerav Goundar slotted in the equalized in the second half.
