Rauluni goes for winning combination
Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua head coach Mosese Rauluni has brought back the winning halves combination in tomorrow’s Super W semifinal clash against Western Force at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
He has named halfback Setaita Ralumu to partner Jennifer Ravutia at first-five eighth. The Drua will miss the services of burly centre Mewewai Cumu who is injured. Stepping into the No,12 spot is the experienced Merewalesi Rokouono.
Rokouono was at No.10 for the 2022 Drua side that hoisted the Super W title and last year she played rugby league for North Queensland Cowboys. Ravutia played at No.10 when they retained the title last year. Rauluni has dropped goal-kicker Luisa Tisolo from his Match 23 squad and opted for Atelaite Buna at fullback.
Also prop Vika Matarugu will come from the bench while burly Anasimeci Korovata gets the start.
The Force has been further boosted with the return of captain Trilleen Pomare who is going to man the centre’s position against the Drua.
The match kicks-off at 4.35pm.
