Impact of COVID-19

THE COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the tourism industry across the world because of the travel restrictions and closure of borders.

Many infected countries have introduced travel restrictions in an attempt to contain the spread of coronavirus.

As a result of the pandemic, many countries and regions have also imposed quarantines and entry bans in an effort to keep their citizens safe.

Some countries and regions have imposed global restrictions that apply to all foreign countries and territories while at the same time stop their own citizens from travelling overseas.

Such is the tourism industry’s situation worldwide right now.

As a result of the pandemic containment measures put in place and observed globally, millions across the globe are now jobless. Let’s not lose hope as I think the virus will leave us one day very soon.
