THE ever popular two-men stroke Ambrose event sponsored by Ambient Edge Pte Ltd on Saturday will see a new format for the first time at the Lautoka golf course.

The 18 holes stroke event will see each of the team members taking 9 compulsory tee-shots, compared with six each in previous events.

The top three teams will be rewarded with handsome prizes alongside a host of novelty giveaways. LGC greens director and tournament coordinator Gaffar Ali thanked Atil Prakash for the timely sponsorship during these difficult times that will bring in some much needed revenue to maintain the greens and fairways.

Khan and Azahar Khan. Bill Gardiner and Dr Vimal Murthi will provide stiff competition. Lautoka Football Association president, Shalendra Prasad will teeoff alongside his VP Dinesh Chand, with former national rep and Lautoka coach Dennis Singh pairing with Gaffar Ali and pitted against Ram Reddy and Raymond Singh.

Dark horses for the inaugural event will see Paras Ram/ Vinod Chand, Alex Mako/ Navi Vakaruru, and Pritam Singh/ Daven Mudaliar. Team registration from 12.15pm-1.15pm. The club will host the new format of two men 18 holes stroke Saturday. Tee off from 12.15pm-1.15pm. Only fully financial members eligible to participate and strictly no late entries accepted.
