ESTABLISHED and emerging fashion designers in the country will showcase their work at the Fiji Fashion Week (FJFW) 2020 which is scheduled to take place from November 14 -28 at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa in Denarau, Nadi.

In partnership with Colgate Palmolive Fiji (Pte) Ltd, FJFW decided to take its premier event to the West to create a presence in readiness for tourists returning to Fiji’s shores.

Colgate Palmolive Fiji (Pte) Ltd head of marketing Fiji and Pacific Islands Jyotika Devi said they were excited about the event.

“Despite the pandemic, Fiji Fashion Week is bringing this event to the people of Fiji,” she said.

“For every cloud there is always a silver lining and the current situation provides an opportunity to find new ways of doing things. We are happy to partner with FJFW in taking this event to greater heights. For the Palmolive brand this is an excellent opportunity to reach out to new and existing customers and build a connection.”

FJFW director Ellen Whippy-Knight said Fiji Fashion Week had never lost sight of its objectives, rivalry and the pandemic had not stopped it from delivering and executing these successfully every year.

“We have the ongoing support from Palmolive and our other loyal sponsors, the designers, models and the community at large to thank,” she said.

“This show will be like no other we have produced, with the main show being held on the beach and a number of surprises as our finale on November 28.”
