Futsal battle in Suva
FUTSAL lovers will once again get to enjoy top action this weekend as the 2020 Suva Business House Futsal League starts on Sunday at the National Hockey Centre at Laucala Bay, Suva.
The football courts are set to host 32 teams in the open men’s division. There are four teams in each pool.
Tournament organiser Alan Kumar of Bula Events Group said the event would run for eight weeks and would include five women’s and four veterans’ teams.
“Twenty games will be played on Sunday. We will be featuring the women’s and veterans’ teams and these divisions have been sponsored by FijiCare and Poly Products, Philip Lighting respectively,” Kumar said.
“Players and fans will get a chance to enjoy their favourite sport as well. The theme for this event is ‘Giving equal playing field.
“I thank our sponsors FijiCare, Poly Products, Philip Lighting, Sportsworld, Global Customs and Propmate Reality for coming onboard to make this event possible.”
