Kissing children

-

WHILE it was a sweet and tender moment, I was disturbed to see on the national news the honourable Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama giving a kiss to a young girl during the recent opening of the Natila Access Road in Tailevu.

During the TV commercials, viewers receive messages from prominent Fijians who have received the vaccination, reiterating the importance of maintaining social distance.

For over a year, the minister at my church has been impressing upon the congregation how life threatening COVID-19 is and providing awareness from the pulpit on precautions which must be taken to prevent its spread.

I know which ‘minister’ I’d prefer to listen to and support.

JULIE SUTHERLAND Tamavua, Suva maintenance but to goosestep the potholes.

If your competition idea comes into practice, I’m sorry Mr Reddy that all towns and city will lose.

The Capital City of Viti is the capital of potholes and has the biggest potholes.

I should check if there are potholes also in that house that might need patching, but I end my story Mr Reddy.

Oh poor ambulance hope it made it to the hospital, aww, Mr Fiu so sad!

One has to remember that these toppers had previously been hailed as the best among the best. Something to ponder about. DHIRENDRA PRASAD Lautoka Nothing to taken be away from Ba, they were equally good, but very unlucky on that day, nevertheless I enjoyed some good soccer.

I would like to encourage Nadroga and Navua to improve on their games as I believe they can do better.

Lastly all the best to all the teams in the Digicel premier league, we are watching all of you.
