Tax on fuel

-

THE NFP leader honourable Biman Prasad has hit the nail on the head when he said in The Fiji Times (2/4) that the fuel tax of 20cpl must be removed immediately.

We all are going through very tough times and our Government is still milking us out of every cent that we have for our family and food.

How long can we survive?

Mr acting A-G show some respect to the people and have the guts to remove the 20cpl fuel tax today.

After all I believe that tax was only for one year and the Government has made millions from that. Can we know where was that money used please?

JUST like Super Rugby Aotearoa, Super Rugby Australia is producing some exciting results as the Reds, Rebels and Brumbies compete for top position.

Our Fijian boys have been in devastating form, and it doesn’t come as a surprise that six Fijians have been named in the 40-member Wallabies squad.

Strong performances from Seru Uru, Suliasi Vunivalu, Marika Koroibete, Filipo Daugunu, Rob Valetini and Isi Naisarini have earned them a call in the Wallabies camp.

These boys will feature in the three-day camp on the Gold Coast.

It’s a huge call, and I’m sure every Fijian must be proud of the fact that we have six Fijians in the Wallabies training squad.

I expect the same when the mighty and brave All Blacks name their squad –– the likes of Sevu Reece, Alex Hodgman and Hoskins Sotutu are expected to be named.
