THE Digicel Premier League resumes this weekend with another round of exciting and thrilling matches on stage.

Round five of the competitio­n will be played on Sunday at four different venues.

Reformed Esy Kool Nadi side will take on Labasa at the Prince Charles Park in Nadi while the Battle of the Cities between Viti Water Flow Lautoka and Unique Rubber Stamp Suva will take the field at the Churchill Park in Lautoka. n FIJI FA MEDIA

Rewa will host the Moshins Insulation Nadroga side at a venue yet to be confirmed while Navua will host the Online IT Solution Ba side at the Uprising Sports Center in Pacific Harbour. All matches will kick off at 3pm. Ba, Suva, Lautoka and Nadi are all on seven points with two wins, a draw and a loss in the competitio­n but goal difference divides them in ranking.

tops the DPL table with better goal difference. Ba played to a nil-all draw against Labasa, won 4-1 against Nadi, defeated Nadroga 1-0 and loss to Lautoka 2-1 while the Babs Khan coached Suva side is on second place after beating Rewa 1-0, 1-all draw against Nadroga, 1-0 win against Navua and loss to Nadi 2-1.

The Shalen Lal-coached Nadi side is on third place after 2-all draw against Nadroga, 1-4 loss against Ba, 2-nil win against Lautoka and 1-0 win against Ba. Lautoka is on fourth place after 1-0 win against Navua, 1-all draw against Rewa, 2-0 loss against Nadi and 2-1 win against Ba.

The Ravneel Pratap-coached Labasa side is on fifth place with six points with a 1-1 draw against Ba, nil-all draw against Navua and Rewa and 1-0 win against Nadroga.

Rodick Singh mentored Rewa side is on sixth place with five points after a 1-0 defeat against Suva, draw against Labasa and Lautoka and a 2-1 win against Navua. Nadroga is on second last on the points table with two points and the Amit Prakash-coached Navua side sits on the bottom with one point.
