Suva ready for Nadroga

- By NOA BIUDOLE

SKIPPER Provincial Cup defending champion Suva will look to start round one on a high note but are aware it is easier said than done, especially with Nadroga first up today.

“Nadroga’s reputation speaks for itself and have always been one of the top teams in provincial rugby,” said team captain James Brown.

“And we host them at home but that doesn’t mean it will be easy.”

Brown said it was always a big game when Suva and Nadroga play each other and this one would be no different.

“We are not underestimating them nor taking them lightly.

“Key for us is to stick to our own game plans and execute the way we want to play the game.

“Hopefully we will do enough to get the task ahead done properly.”

Suva has named a strong line-up for their first clash of the season.

Terio Tamani will start off the bench, with experienced hands in Ratu Meli Kurisaru, Enele Tikotani, Elia Canakaivata and Mateo Qolisese to lead the first XV.
