Meanwhile, Fiji Football Association has reminded football fans planning to watch their teams to be mindful of the health and hygiene measures in place because of COVID-19.

Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said the mandatory COVID-19 safety measures needed to be strictly followed.

“The 70 per cent ground capacity will apply and there won't be any compromises,” he said.

“Patrons are advised to strictly adhere to the social distancing measures as well. They are urged to arrive early to the grounds to avoid disappointments.”

Yusuf said patrons should have CareFiji app on their telephones or necessary identification cards.

“The vaccination cards will be verified by accessing the vax-check tool because only fully vaccinated players, officials and fans will be allowed inside the respective venues.

“CareFiji app and vaccination cards are non-negotiable for entry. They are strongly advised to carry their vaccination cards with them in case it's not updated in the vax-check.”

Football fans have also been reminded about the non-consumption of kava at any venue until further notice. The matches are scheduled to start at 3pm.
