Strong tech partners

- By ABISHEK CHAND

ONE of the largest technology providers in the South Pacific, Datec Fiji, leverages Lenovo data center solutions, powered by Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, to support regional organisations in the commercial, banking, finance, government, hospitality, and service sectors.

In a statement, Datec (Fiji) CEO Satyen Singh said Lenovo understood the unique logistical challenges they faced in delivering technology to clients in the South Pacific Islands.

“Lenovo listens to our needs and supports us, working as part of our team to help us get the right solutions to our clients — no matter where they are based,” he said.

The ease of doing business with Lenovo was said to be the key for Datec Fiji, according to Mr Singh.

“We need a vendor that is willing to back us, and Lenovo does just that.

“We rely on Lenovo’s technical expertise and support services to help us serve our clients.”

Nathan Knight said Datec (Fiji) and Lenovo had a strong history in providing value to their joint customers in the Pacific region and Datec continued to be an important part of their sales, deployment, and postsales customer experience in Fiji.

“Lenovo looks forward to a strong growth trajectory with Datec both in federal government and private business sectors,” he said.

Mr Singh also said Lenovo had proven to be an exceptional partner over the years.

“They are like an extension of our own team and we look forward to continue working together for many more years to come,” he said.

According to the statement benefits for Lenovo partners included global reach and flexibility to meet the logistical challenges of serving the South Pacific Islands, reliable infrastructure powered by the latest Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, close teamwork as well as open and transparent communication.

It would also offer attractive financial incentives, expert technical support and a wide range of training programs.
