Super premier league

Fiji soccer

TO the president of the above, this is my 5 cents advice to you.

Instead of making the eight clubs (surprising from district to club now) play some 28 games, excluding your bazaar tournaments of five 90 minutes of games in five days, why don’t you promote another four teams to the super premier. There is Nasinu, Tailevu Naitasiri, Tavua, and one from the North — Savusavu. All these teams were in the SP once. I believe your short-sightedness has killed the interest in these districts.

Get Levuka, Nalawa, Vatukoula back into the premier division. Have you forgotten the players that these districts produced? Amir Ahmed, Alfred Arapio, the Salesi brothers, Andrews, Koko, Dickson from Savusavu to name a few, who went straight to the main national teams.

The fact of the matter is you have completely killed off the club games in Fiji.

During our playing days there used to be a Premier Division national soccer team made up of premier players only.

We used to play regional teams like Samoa and Tonga. The so-called Bula Boys never used to play Samoa. Now they are playing and are wary of the Samoans who started playing soccer some 20 years ago compared with us from 1938. Where is that shadow national team now?

And can you also state:

 the amount of grant to each super and premier district per season;

 the wages one gets to manage a district team be it manager ...secretary ...coach or president.

 What I hear is that they don’t get paid at all. Is that correct Mr President?can u also reduce the term to minimum two years, max four for all district officials including you and all at Fiji FA so that new blood comes in. I don’t like to see one face for 20 years without change.

And finally can you advise how on earth Fiji FA’s net asset value jumped from $2.5 million to $25 million under your leadership. Are you also counting the academies around that was solely funded by FIFA.

Either FIFA is a complete joke or you are.

I call upon FIFA to conduct an enquiry and engage a QS to get the real cost of the Labasa academy.

Anyway, Mr President call me on 9955178. We can discuss over the phone. It will remain between us two.

I will eagerly wait for your response. To the national coach, you can also call me. I loved your presence at premier playoffs in Labasa some two months ago. I love your vision. But not your president’s... sorry!
