Company celebrates 28 years in business
VODAFONE Fiji has evolved from a mobile communications provider to a multi-functional digital services enterprise, says its chief marketing officer Rajnesh Prasad.
“As one of the leading players in the market, we are adding game-changing business verticals to our portfolio,” he said.
Vodafone Fiji yesterday launched its 28th birthday campaign at the Vodafone Triangle
with members of the public and the Vodafone Flying Fijians team.
Mr Prasad said Vodafone’s eCommerce platforms; M-PAiSA and VitiKart were paving the way for businesses and consumers alike to benefit, adding that they were proud to forge pathways for Fiji’s envisioned roadmap towards a cashless society.
“Vodafone has always come with grand campaigns that delight our customers and offers massive prizes throughout our birthday month, so one or more customers win daily with us.
“Today, as we launch our 28 years of business excellence in Fiji, what better way to celebrate our milestone accomplishments than with the Vodafone Flying Fijians and our customers.
“As part of our celebration, we will be giving away $280,000 in cash and prizes. Every day, one customer will win $2800 in cash, and one lucky customer will walk away with the grand prize of $28,000. There are heaps of other competitions with our partner Samsung, online promos, specials and massive discounts that customers can enjoy throughout our birthday month.”
Mr Prasad said Vodafone was proud of its continuing efforts in positively shaping the Fijian economy, be it next-generation mobile networks, latest products, seamless solutions, digitalisation, corporate social responsibility to sponsoring grassroots to international level sports.
