- Source: FUNLISTHUB.COM

THE slowest cars in the world are amazing fun slow cars to own. The highest speed they can run will surprise you. The majority of the cars here are modern vehicles. And the old ones mentioned here are still in use. Some of the cars are power by electricity.

According to website: funlisthub. com, most of these slow cars are micro-cars and minivans. Due to the sizes of these cars, drivers are advised not to use them in high ways (though the fact is being disputed by some professionals). They are all pleasurable cars to drive around the city.

These are five of the world's slowest cars;

1. Axiam Coupe Evo

Axiam Coupe Evo is a mini quadricycle vehicle that has a sporty and urban style. The vehicle is loved for its economising way of consuming fuel. It has two seats. A 16-year-old teenager can drive the car in the UK and a driving license is not required.

2. Peel P50

The car was produced in Great Britain in 1964 by Peel Engineering Co. Ltd. It is one of the rarest cars and one of the most expensive as well. It was manufactured mainly for a single adult with a space for a shopping bag. Though the car is very slow, it is still better than walking with your luggage. For this, it is one of the first slow cars on the list of the slowest cars in the world.

The mini car was popular in the headquarters of the BBC then. The car has a handle on the rear and it does not have reverse gear. With the handle on the rear, the driver can start the car and operate it as necessary.

3. Renault Twizy 45

Renault Twizy 45 is among the slowest cars in the world and it is a short car that is 2.3 metres in height. It is an electric micro-car. It has side doors without windows. Its battery, which is 6.1 kWh, can sustain a drive for a distance of 100 km when fully charge.

The rate of the consumption of energy of this vehicle depends on many conditions, this includes road's gradient, environmental temperature, and so on. Its name, Twizy, comes from its duo sit; it's a two-seater vehicle. To recharge its battery is very simple, just to plug it into the usual household socket. Another good thing about the vehicle is that its small size enables its user to find easy parking space.

4. BMW Isetta 250

BMW Isetta 250 is also referred to as a bubble car or Knutschkugel (in Germany). It is a little car manufactured in the years between 1955 and 1962 by the Bayerische Motorenwerke. During those years, it was one of the cars people can afford because it was less expensive. In fact, drivers do not need to get an expensive driver's license to use the car.

With a motorcycle license, anyone can drive the vehicle. It has a single front door where the steering wheel is. For this, it is easy for the two adults passenger to go in and get out. The car's total length is 7.5-ft (2.28 meters). No matter how small it is, it can comfortably occupy two adults. Its engine is at the back which is a singlecylinder four-stroke engine.

5. Peugeot 106 Electrique
