Company appoints marketing officer
LOCAL chocolate company Vanua Chocolate says it has experienced growth in its chocolate bar sales after the reopening of the economy post-COVID.
In a media announced the company shared that it was a Bean to Bar craft chocolate company based in Waqadra, Nadi.
“We craft dark chocolate bars, bonbons from Fiji cacao as well as pastries. The company also operates a café in front of their chocolate factory,” it said.
The company distributes and sells chocolate through their partners targeting the tourist and a growing local market and also crafts chocolate bars, bonbon chocolate and pastries from Fijian cocoa beans and chocolate.
The company yesterday announced the appointment of Kirti Fremlin as the new sales and marketing officer.
It said Ms Fremlin brought to the company a wealth of experience.
She worked with Courts as a brand ambassador for Philip’s appliances whereby she worked with in house managers through product handling and training.
She demonstrated the different Phillips products for marketing purposes through Televisions, OB (outside broadcast), newspapers and billboards.
According to the announcement, before joining Vanua Chocolate, Ms Fremlin was the corporate sales executive at Yees Cold Storage and she was passionate about customer service and will assist the organization in educating consumers on the benefits of dark chocolate and looking to grow the company.
“Vanua Chocolate impacts the local cocoa farming community and she looks forward to making an positive impact to the farming community as well,” said the company.
