Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised tertiary institution in the field of sustainability or environmental management or any other related fields.
Over 2 years of proven corporate experience with a good knowledge base of sustainability practices and applicable laws and regulations
Practical experience and awareness of Government’s sustainable development objectives Enthusiastic, well-spoken and good presentation and writing skills with a practical appreciation of tourism in Fiji
Good project management and analytical skills
Strong collaborative abilities to build trusting relationships with Tourism Fiji’s stakeholders
Ability to analyse and understand research and to identify relevant and valuable information.

Sustainability Officer
role is to ensure that Fiji is promoted and marketed as a tourist destination for the purpose of maximising sustainable and long-term benefits to Fiji.
We are seeking a passionate individual to join our Nadi based team and help steer Tourism Fiji’s commitments towards the Fijian Government’s 5-Year and 20-Year National Development Plan and contribute as a cross-cutting sector for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Tourism is specifically referenced in these plans in the targets of Sustainable Development Goals 8, 12 and 14: inclusive and sustainable economic development, sustainable consumption and production, and sustainable use of oceans and marine resources.
