-

WHILE I love to congratulate the new Government, I also like to sincerely thank the Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka for his speedy action to allow Professor Brij Lal’s widow Dr Padma Lal to travel to Fiji with the professor’s no other past governments had developed Fiji, in terms of benefits and infrastructure, as that of the FijiFirst.

Who would ever thought that there will be free tuition fees from year one to year thirteen, the FijiFirst made it possible.

Who would ever thought that bus fares and boat fares for school children would be provided by the government, the FijiFirst made it possible. ashes for the final rituals. This is the best news for Professor’s families in Tabia, Labasa and abroad. I am also excited to see Professor Pal Ahluwalia allowed back to resume his work from USP in Suva. Both these innocent families Who would ever thought that there would be a Fiji National University, the FijiFirst made it possible.

There are many other examples that I can provide regarding infrastructural development such as roads, bridges, airports, housing that the FijiFirst had accomplished in its time of leadership that one can only dream of.

I remember Voreqe Bainimarama

went around Fiji during that campaign period telling people about what he had done to Fiji and the Fijians, which is all true, nevertheless the majority voted otherwise despite all that the FijiFirst government had accomplished

The million dollar question is; why aren’t Fijian happy despite all the developments and benefits provided by the FijiFirst government?
