Currently we are recruiting for the following positions:
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
This position will be based at the Head Office in Karsanji Street, Vatuwaqa and will be reporting to the Operations Finance Manager.
The nature of the role includes:
Identifying business opportunities and working with relevant stakeholders on initiatives for profitability improvement.
Monitoring commodity cost impacts and trends.
Identifying and highlighting risks where mitigation action will be necessary, in order to avoid business losses.
Driving business improvement through proactive and insightful analytical reporting.
Setting up budgeting and forecasting models and assisting managers in forecasting.
Setting up and reviewing monthly financial models and discussing financial performance with respective managers.
Designing and implementing reports aimed at adding value, improving, and enhancing decision making.
Acting as coach and mentor to direct reports providing regular positive and constructive feedback on performance achievements.
Developing and maintaining professional relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
Key skills and attributes required:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent majoring in Accounting, Economics or Finance with at least some experience using large accounting systems e.g. Syspro or SAP. You must have at least five years’ work experience in a similar role, preferably in an FMCG company.
Proven experience in management accounting specifically costing and variance analysis.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, results-driven and a team player.
BULK TRUCK DRIVER (Re- Advertised)
This position will be based at the Feed Mill in Nausori and will be reporting to the Team Leader.
The nature of the role includes:
Ensuring delivery of feed products to company farms in full on time. Completing all delivery documents accurately and in accordance with Goodman Fielder’s best practices and policies.
Following safe driving practices and ensuring the truck is well maintained and roadworthy.
Complying with all loading and unloading practices and holding accountability for all stock movements.
Ensuring Company Quality, Biosecurity, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Key skills and attributes required:
3 years’ proven experience driving a heavy goods vehicle with HI/LO transmission gear system.
A valid group 2 and 6 driving licence with no demerit points.
Holding a group 9 driving licence would be an advantage.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy weights in order to load and unload stock. Ability to work shifts.
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
This position will be based in Suva and will be reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.
The nature of the role includes:
Controlling and monitoring the movement of stock which includes receiving, moving, checking, and storing of incoming and outgoing goods. Stacking and rotation of pallets as per FIFO requirements.
Accurate recording and distribution of finished goods.
Loading trucks and containers to be dispatched within the expected timeframe. Ensuring all inventory processes, procedures and documentation is completed in accordance with Goodman Fielder best practices and policies.
Key skills and attributes required:
Working experience in a similar position in an FMCG company. Physically fit and able to lift heavy weights in order to load and unload stock. Ability to work shifts in ambient and cold chain environments
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
A valid group 2 and 9 driving licence with no demerit points would be an advantage.
